1. Very clear signposts and structure. you get a clear sense of exactly what's inside each chapter.

2. Easy-to-understand language. I'm pretty much 5 years removed from my last calculus course and I can still easily pick this up. Really all you'll need is an understanding of simple math concepts like summations or logs
