I really enjoyed this book! It is the only book I've seen that provides a
thoughtful discussion of the various ethics issues associated with using the
DSM. 'It also deconstructs the DSM from a feminist and multicultural
perspective. The book is jam packed with tons of interactive case studies
and activities that can be used with supervisees or in teaching abnormal
psychology or DSM-type classes. This is a provocative book in that it
touches on many controversial issues. It was interesting to read the
various case studies, and they really challenged me to think critically
about the DSM.
I am going to provide this text to my new supervisors.
