I really enjoyed this book! It is the only book I've seen that provides athoughtful discussion of the various ethics issues associated with using the
DSM. 'It also deconstructs the DSM from a feminist and multicultural
perspective. The book is jam packed with tons of interactive case studies
and activities that can be used with supervisees or in teaching abnormal
psychology or DSM-type classes. This is a provocative book in that it
touches on many controversial issues. It was interesting to read the
various case studies, and they really challenged me to think critically
about the DSM.
I am going to provide this text to my new supervisors.
