A lot of the material at the beginning is the same as found in many other signal processing books, like the Fourier Transform and its properties, extended to two dimensions. I would have liked to see some concrete examples of transforms and convolutions when the subjects are introduced, rather than the usual stock pules responses. Other than that, the book helped me out.
