Excellent book! A must have! The case-based approach make every topic far more easy to understand: in some way those cases become your clinical "memory" even if you have a limited caseload. Descriptions of different pathologies are very concise and are a base for a wider knowledge if you read more detailed books; but it's a very good start. For some surgical conditions I found an honest and open-minded approach (sometimes difficult to find in books and literature) explaining all the limits of current techniques (e.g. Wobbler disease and Hydrocephalus).
